SouthArc was established in 1989 to provide a complete range of cultural resource services to assist our clients with their environmental permitting needs. Our goal is to provide excellent documentation on schedule, while working closely with regulatory agencies to insure full compliance with their requirements, and thus a smooth approval process for our clients. SouthArc has provided archaeological, historical and architectural history services for planners, engineers, developers, not-for-profits, and government agencies. Our team has successfully completed over 500 projects throughout the southeastern United States and in the Caribbean.
SouthArc’s principal archaeologists are fully certified members of the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA), the Florida Archaeological Council and the Council of South Carolina Professional Archaeologists. Our historians and architectural historian exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s requirements for those positions. SouthArc is a Florida certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), woman-owned, and a small business. SouthArc is also a charter member of the American Cultural Resources Association (ACRA), a national trade association which promotes quality services and ethical performance in our field.
